Looking for something festive and fun to do? Why not create your own wrapping paper? Our festive printmaking workshop covers everything you need to start block printing. No prior knowledge is required as you are in safe hands with our tutor, who has been teaching Art for over a decade. You will enjoy learning and exploring essential printmaking skills and techniques, helping you feel confident with your new abilities. You will cover a range of areas while creating a linocut, which you will use to print your own wrapping paper! The workshop is a three hour session and for adults only (anyone aged 18+). This workshop costs £35 with no additional fees, all materials and equipment needed will be provided. Once you have completed the course your learning doesn’t have to stop there! We regularly host workshops in a wide range of media and crafts. Your workshop includes one drink and one snack per person, free of charge. There will be extra refreshments available to purchase. Toilet facilities are on site. You are required to pay for the workshop in full, when booking. This can be paid in person at our studio shop or online. Such as your own materials and resources when possible, hand washing and sanitising facilities. TUTOR: This workshop will be hosted by Alexandra. She has over 11 years’ experience teaching within formal education. Alexandra has a First-class B.A. Hons degree in Fine Art and was graded as outstanding when achieving her qualified teaching training status. She was honoured to receive a Certificate of Excellence for her 2018 nomination of ‘The Award for Teacher of the Year’ UK. She has all the relevant background checks including a DBS/CRB check. Alexandra is also a practicing artist having exhibited nationally and internationally, along with her work being selected for national public Art trails.
