Afternoon Art class: Jan - Feb

THURSDAYS: 12:30-2:30PM At Saredon Studios, Newhall Arcade, 81 High Green, Cannock, WS11 1BN Always wanted to learn how to create artwork you're proud of? Want to learn a new skill and socialise with other creatives? Then this is the course for you! You will enjoy learning and exploring essential drawing and painting skills in our relaxed friendly studio. This term we will be learning a mix of sketching and painting techniques, looking at seasonal and mindful themed activities. You will cover a range of areas and techniques such as sketching, layering, texture, colour mixing and tonal values. Dates for Jan - Feb term: Week 1: 9th January Week 2: 16th January Week 3: 23rd January Week 4: 30th January Week 5: 6th February Week 6: 13th February Break: No class on the 20th February. The term will then continue on the 27th February. This term block has 6 x two hour sessions, running weekly from 12:30pm until 2:30pm. It costs £156 per participant which is discounted for the advance full term booking. All materials and equipment needed will be provided. Your workshop includes refreshments free of charge. Toilet facilities are on site. You are required to pay for the workshop in full, when booking. Any participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied throughout the workshop by a full paying adult. Our studio is wheelchair accessible. TUTOR: This workshop will be hosted by Alexandra. She has a First-class B.A. Hons degree in Fine Art and is a qualified specialist Art teacher. She has gained vast experience as an artist and educator over the past 12+ years. Working with the University of Wolverhampton, Burton & Derby NHS trust, Telford & Wrekin NHS trust and numerous schools across the midlands.
